There are currently in the region of 25,000 vacancies for Beauty Therapists in this country. Employment opportunities range from Independent self-employed Beauty Consultants to Salon Therapists; Salon Owner; Health Farm Therapists or working with Steiner, Virgin or British Airways. As a self employed therapist Beauty Therapy can provide a very flexible career or take you all over the world with a liner or airline company.

The courses on offer at Achievement Training aim to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding needed to meet the high standards of this industry. Whether you are still at school and wish to include vocational training in your curriculum, are employed or unemployed we will support you throughout your training to ensure you meet the standards required.

The course structure means that whilst all the practical work is taught and assessed on the premises in our new fully equipped salons; the underpinning knowledge can be studied (with tutor support) at home or work.

There are a number of course times available to meet a wide range of needs.

Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2

The course for beginners. No specific entry requirements but an artistic flair and a reasonable standard of English would be helpful.

Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 3

Successful completion of Level 2 is required before starting this course.

(Course, kit and consumable fees are required for all courses - relevant fee remission will be discussed individually with learners at induction.)

Assistance with funding is available subject to status and full information on how to apply for this funding is available on induction.
