All of the Care courses support the government initiatives towards
the National Qualifications Framework of the Department of Health & Department
for Education and Skills and meet the recommendations of TOPSS
England.
Care NVQ Levels 2, 3 & 4
Level 2
This qualification is suitable for those interested in a career working
in a care setting in hospitals, residential and nursing homes etc employed
or on a voluntary basis.
Level 3
Candidates should have previous experience in care and be working in
a supervisory position.
Level 4
These programmes are designed for owners, managers and staff, including
learning needs and disabled client groups in the private, public or voluntary
sector.
Caring for Children & Young People NVQ
Level 3
This programme is aimed at people working with children and young people
in a wide variety of settings eg. Special Schools , Care Homes.
The Registered Manager Level 4
Level 4 Registered Manager NVQ 4 focuses on the task of managing a care
service and some units have been taken from the Care NVQ at level 4.
Distance Learning packages are available and assessed observation in
the workplace which can be carried out by our assessors or a qualified
Work Based Assessor is included in the package costs.
Health & Safety Legislation
Some of these courses can be tailored to meet or update current legislation
in key areas required in all care homes.

- Induction Course
These courses can be tailored to meet the needs of residential and non-residential
housekeepers and domestic laundry and kitchen staff. The courses provide
a wide variety of underpinning knowledge which can be used as a progression
route towards NVQs in Care Levels 2, 3 & 4. Courses can be booked
as individual units or as a whole and take place either on-site or at
the Achievement Training centre.
TDLB Assessors Awards
It is always a great help to your staff working toward NVQ qualifications
to have an on-site assessor. Assessors Awards are normally charged at £270.00
per unit but if you have NVQ candidates enrolled with Achievement Training
we can arrange low cost training for your staff to become qualified Care
Assessors.

status and full information on how to apply for this funding is
available on induction.
