CACHE Entry and Foundation Level Certificate for preparation for Childcare

Suitable for those who have no experience to working with children - especially young people who wish to achieve a career in childcare.

Early Years Care NVQs

Level 2

This qualification is suitable for those interested in a career working with children in school, pre-schools, nurseries, crèches and family centres employed or on a voluntary basis.

Level 3

Candidates should have previous experience in childcare and be working in a supervisory position.

Level 4

The Level 4 qualification has three different strands:

1. Management
2. Quality & Quality Control
3. Advanced Practice

NVQ in Learning Support Levels 2 & 3

The recognised qualification for teaching assistants employed or working on a voluntary basis in a wide variety of settings.

NVQ in Playwork Levels 2 & 3

The qualification for staff (employed or voluntary) working in after schools clubs etc.

Certificate in Childminding Practice

Consists of three stand alone units

• Introducing Childminding Practice
• Developing Childminding Practice
• Extending Childminding Practice

Develops the knowledge and skills for child minding practice step-by-step from the newly registered child minder to an experienced and highly skilled community or accredited child minder

TDLB Assessors Awards

It is always a great help to your staff working toward NVQ qualifications to have an on-site assessor. Assessors Awards are normally charged at £150.00 per unit but if you have NVQ candidates enrolled with Achievement Training we can arrange low cost training for your staff to become qualified Early Years Care Assessors.
