Learner Support Department

The Learner Support Department can help with any difficulties that may be affecting your learning/training or your life in general.
You can talk to our Skills and Social Development Coach in a friendly relaxed atmosphere or drop in for a chat to discuss more serious issues, on a formal or informal basis. You can discuss your needs on any issues that can affect you, such as:
Careers advice & guidance, CV support, your training, employment, confidence, self esteem, drugs and alcohol, bullying, housing, general health, finance, motivation, life skills, general stress, family relationships, personal relationships, sexual health, personal and social development.
We can support you on decision making, helping you cope with aspects of everyday life.
We also provide long term mentor/life skills coaching support service for those require it on anything that can affect your personal well being
We will provide appropriate guidance and support on any of the above topics.
We also provide support and information on issues of equal opportunities and child protection.
We provide a confidential service where your difficulties will be dealt with in a sensitive and appropriate manner. If required we can sign post you to, or liaise with relevant agencies that can provide any further specialised support you may need.
We would also like you to play your part in Achievement Training's development by suggesting ways that we can improve your training experience you can express your views on anything we can improve to suit your learning needs.
We will attempt to support you on anything that can affect your ability to learn. No topic too big or too small.
