The work of procurement and supply professionals includes the process of procurement, or
buying goods and services; however, these roles can be much broader than just procurement.
These roles can extend to a huge range of related commercial activity such as influencing
policy, financial analysis, engaging in contract law, and developing strategy to delivery
services. The Apprenticeship encompasses the entire procurement cycle and achieving
Level 4 in Commercial Procurement and Supply will enable an individual to use their breadth
and depth of experience to position themselves as a fully effective commercially skilled
professional with transferable skills and career options that span the public, private and
charitable sectors.
ATN Teaching & Consultancy services, with over 10 years of successful experience, will work
in partnership with Achievement Training Limited to deliver this Apprenticeship.

Ideal If

This is suitable for those seeking to develop their Commercial capability and excel, those who
wish to move into junior and middle management procurement roles or those supervising the
procurement function.

What you can expect

Delivery of the apprenticeship will mostly be carried out at the workplace, with off-the-job training
accounting for at least 20% of your employed time. Training from experienced ATN Teaching &
consultancy professionals, which will include workshops, tutor-coordinated activities / tasks, plus
examination preparation and support. The Apprenticeship requires you to attain the L4 Diploma in
procurement and supply. This is assessed by CIPS examination. End point assessment requires you
to present a showcase portfolio, complete an assessed project and make an assessed presentation
to a panel.
Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths, will need to achieve this prior to EPA.

What Next?

On successful completion of this apprenticeship, candidates will be ready to go onto CIPS L5
Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply or a HND in business where there will be several
