What you'll learn

Are you keen to pursue an interest in designing and developing multimedia and computer games? This course will develop an awareness of the types of computing games currently available and their impact on society. You will also develop skills within the processes involved with multimedia including: animation techniques multimedia design and creation.

This multimedia and computer game development course will give you a more in-depth understanding in the modern workplace, giving insights into ICT roles in specialist careers.

Ideal if

This qualification has been designed for learners age 16 years and over and have a general interest in the development of technology.

What to expect

You will attend 2 days a week at Achievement Training’s City Centre location plus 1 day at a relevant work placement.

At the centre you will have the opportunity to network with other learners, share practice and access different resources to support your learning including laptops, desktops, tablets and textbooks. Your tutor will support your throughout the course and you will be provided with a detailed course programme.

What next

You can progress to Level 3 through further training or an Apprenticeship. Employment opportunities: Animator Computer Games Tester, E learning Developer, Product Designer & Web Designer.
